+++The Imperial Guard+++

The Imperial Guard are the protectors of the Imperium, the men and women who stand on the front lines and give their lives for the freedom of all Mankind.  They are recruited en masse, sent to the field en masse, and die en masse, so that others may live.  The Imperial Guard are some of the bravest people in the galaxy, willing sacrifice everything so that no one else must give up anything.

And they are the Imperium's last line of defense...
