+++THE ELDAR+++

The Craftworlds float in the vastness of space, isolated like scattered jewels upon a pall of velvet. Their domes stare into the darkness of empty space, lights glisten like phosphorous through semi-transparent surfaces. Within live the few survivors of the once mighty Eldar race, a race that is all but extinct, the last remnants of proud people whose mere dreams once overturned worlds and quenched suns. No one knows how many Craftworlds there are, they were built many millenia ago in great urgency and in times of unimaginable peril. The turmoil and confusion which prededed the destruction of the Eldar worlds was great. All higher government had ceased to operate long ago. It was only thanks to the heroic actions of a few farsighted individuals that the Craftworlds were built at all.

Each Craftworld originates from one of the Eldar planets. Over the centuries the Craftworlds occupants sougght out other surviving Eldar among the far-flung Exodite colonies. It was in this way that the paths of Eldar and Mankind met for the first time, and Humans became acquainted with the most ancient and enigmatic of the galaxy's living races.

The Eldar Craftworlds are connected to each other and to the Exodite worlds by the great Webway. Through the Webway Eldar can travel great distances accross the galaxy and trade with other Craftworlds and the Exodite worlds.

The Eldar are extremely long-lived by Human standards, survivng for over a thousand years before old age overtakes them. During these long years the Eldar may follow many paths, of which the path of the Warrior is but one. Within the path of the Warrior, an Eldar will choose one of the Aspects to follow.
