+++THE FORCES OF CHAOS+++

Of all the threats that face Mankind within the galaxy, the forces of Chaos are by far the most deadly.  The Chaos Gods' minions can strike anywhere, at anytime.  Often there is no warning.  A force of Daemons or Chaos Space Marines appears from the Warp, or a legion of Cultists spring forth from within the Imperium's own worlds.

The threat of the spread of Chaos is such that the Imperium has dedicated forces to its destruction.  The Ecclesiarch, the Inquisition, the Ordo Malleus - even the Adeptus Astartes and the Adeptus Arbitrators - are all dedicated to the destruction of Chaos in all its forms - even the mention of it.  A whole world will be cleansed of life, if only to destroy a small band of Chaos followers - such is the threat of Chaos.
