For all you Carthage fans, here are some edits I thought appropriate to the existing army list.
1. Additional Character
COMMANDERS
| Profile | M | WS | BS | S | T | W | I | A | Ld | Pts |
| Commanders | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 5 | 2 | 8 | 50 |
Equipment: Sword. May have light armor at +3 points, shield at +2 points, large shield at +3 points. May ride a warhorse at +4 points.
Special Rules: Carthaginian and Spanish Units may have Commanders. May not be in the same unit as the General.
2. Greeks should be allowed only for the 1st Punic War at which time Celts were not available and the Spanish should be rare (unlike the 2nd Punic War). Cretan Archer should be allowed for the 1st Punic War.
3. SPANISH CAVALRY
| Profile | M | WS | BS | S | T | W | I | A | Ld | Pts |
| Light Cavalry | 8 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 7 | 17 |
| Heavy Cavalry | 8 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 7 | 17 |
Equipment: Javelins, sword and Buckler. Light Cavalry may have throwing spear (+1 point). Heavy Cavalry may replace buckler with shield , light armor (+1 point), Thrusting or throwing spear (+1 point).
Special Rules: Light Cavalry are light troops., Allies & Mercenaries.
4. SKIRMISHERS
| Profile | M | WS | BS | S | T | W | I | A | Ld | Pts |
| Libyan | 5 | 2 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 7 | 5 |
| Morrocan Archers | 5 | 2 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 5 | 4 |
| Balearic Slingers | 5 | 2 | 3 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 7 | 5 |
Equipment: Hand weapon. Libyans may have javelins and buckler. Morrocans composite bows. The Spanish Balearic Slingers have slings.
Special Rules: Skirmishers. Subject to the Carthaginian Allies & Mercenaries special rule.
5. Quick and simple research should lead you to the same conclusions. Missile troops at first look seem to be incorrectly lacking. They are available as Numidian Skirmishers, but this seems obscure. They have been added as the figs are even available from Foundry. The Carthaginian Middle Eastern roots could not have lost track of the composite bow that easily.
(Painting Note) Skin color is most likely darker than most histories show. A Persian-like skin tone mixed with Libyan is more likely, whatever that would look like ?
