After many hours and days of searching through musty records and over a period of many months traveling from college to university and from land to land, I unearthed the following information on some of the most famous, or should I say infamous, regiments to ever serve in any army.  These regiments have gained renown for their deeds whether great and glorious, or infamous and dark, they have fought stalwartly, if somewhat dastardly in some cases.

I found much of this information in a little-known university in Tilea, that by the strangest of coincidences carries the same name as the famous University of Altdorf.  I have used this information, along with information from my own archives, to get a true picture of these regiments in the terms of the present day knowledge.  We all know that Bretonnian Knights fight mounted using their lances and the weight of their charge, so it was unthinkable that the Knights of Origo would fight as common foot soldiers.  But amongst the musty tomes in my library I found the truth of the matter; they were actually Bretonnian Knights Quested to protect the Monastery of Origo, and to defeat the pirates and restore order to the area.  They were so zealous that they became part of the Order and continued the Quest to protect it from that time forward.  I have found other inconsistencies from the records as we know them to be set forth in the great books of history that we all use today.  So here are some of the great Regiments of Renown set forth as I surmise that they would be in this time of the reign of the Emperor Karl Franz.
